Service
Google Business Profile management
You turn up in the map pack when somebody searches your trade plus your suburb.
Why this exists
The map results sit above everything else on a phone, and most local businesses have a profile that is half filled in, has three photos from 2019, and no reviews answered.
What you actually get
- Profile claimed, verified and filled out completely
- Categories and services set properly — the single biggest lever on the map pack
- Service areas, hours, holiday hours and attributes kept current
- Photos added and refreshed on a schedule
- Review requests you can actually send, and replies drafted for every review
- Monthly check on calls, direction requests and searches from the profile
What it is not
The exclusions matter more than the inclusions. This is where an assumption turns into a disappointment three months in, so it is on the page rather than in a scope document you sign later.
- Buying reviews, or writing reviews as your customers. Both breach Google's terms and Australian Consumer Law.
- Guaranteed map rankings. Nobody can promise those, and anybody who does is guessing.
The other three
Google Ads
Your ad shows up when somebody nearby searches for exactly what you sell, and you can see what each call cost.
Websites
A fast, honest site that reads properly on a phone and makes it obvious how to contact you.
Tracking and reporting
You stop guessing which advertising works, because every call and form has a source attached to it.
