“We buy small lots, roast them light enough to taste where they came from, and sell them before they go dull.”

MARISA OYELARAN · HEAD ROASTER

Smashed avocado on sourdough with feta and chilli
The avo, which we are contractually obliged to do. Ours has preserved lemon in it, and the sourdough is from the bakery two doors up.

About this sample

This is a sample site built by Kerbie to show what we make. The business, the prices, the staff and the reviews on this page are all invented, and the phone numbers are from the range reserved for use in drama — nothing here will ring a real person.

What it is built to do
Get somebody in the door this morning, and sell beans to the ones who cannot come in.
Art direction
Food editorial. Cream paper, terracotta and olive, a high-contrast display serif at magazine scale, asymmetric photo blocks, and the menu set as typography rather than a table.
Type
Playfair Display + Work Sans
Palette
CreamTerracottaOlive

Yours would look nothing like this one.

That is rather the point of having five. We build for the trade, not from a template — a site for your business would be its own art direction again.
